Dasyu-maryādā and Buddhi-guided Rāja-nīti (दस्युमर्यादा तथा बुद्धिप्रधान-राजनीति)
क्षत्रियेषु न विश्वास: कार्य: सर्वापकारिषु । अपकृत्यापि सतत सान्त्वयन्ति निरर्थकम्
kṣatriyeṣu na viśvāsaḥ kāryaḥ sarvāpakāriṣu | apakṛtyāpi satataṃ sāntvayanti nirarthakam ||
ភីṣ្មៈបានមានព្រះវាចា៖ «មិនគួរដាក់ចិត្តទុកចិត្តលើក្សត្រិយៈដែលប៉ងធ្វើអំពើអាក្រក់គ្រប់វិធីឡើយ។ ទោះបានធ្វើបាបប៉ះពាល់រួចហើយ ក៏នៅតែបន្តនិយាយពាក្យលួងលោមជាញឹកញាប់—ជាការលួងលោមឥតអត្ថប្រយោជន៍ និងទទេឥតន័យ»។
