Śīla-prāpti and Śīla-lakṣaṇa (शीलप्राप्ति-शीललक्षणम्) | On the Acquisition and Marks of Character
महामना भवेद् धर्मे विवहेच्च महाकुले । ब्राह्मणांश्वापि सेवेत क्षमायुक्तान् मनस्विन:
mahāmanā bhaved dharme vivahec ca mahākule | brāhmaṇāṁś cāpi seveta kṣamāyuktān manasvinaḥ ||
កាមន្ទកៈ បាននិយាយថា៖ «ចូរឲ្យមនុស្សមានចិត្តខ្ពង់ខ្ពស់ក្នុងធម៌; ចូរឲ្យគាត់រៀបការជាមួយត្រកូលខ្ពង់ខ្ពស់; ហើយចូរឲ្យគាត់បម្រើ និងគោរពព្រះព្រាហ្មណ៍ផងដែរ—អ្នកដែលគ្រប់គ្រងខ្លួនបាន មានវិញ្ញាណមាំមួន និងពោរពេញដោយការអត់ធ្មត់»។
