असम्भवे श्रियो राजन् हीनस्य सचिवादिशि: | दैवे प्रतिनिविष्टे च कि श्रेयो मन्यते भवान्
asambhave śriyo rājan hīnasya sacivādiṣu | daive pratiniviṣṭe ca ki śreyo manyate bhavān ||
ភីṣ្មៈបានមានព្រះវាចា៖ «ឱ ព្រះមហាក្សត្រ ពេលដែលសេចក្តីរុងរឿងមិនអាចកើតមានសម្រាប់ព្រះអង្គទៀត—ព្រះអង្គត្រូវបានដកហូតទាំងមន្ត្រី និងជំនួយផ្សេងៗ ហើយវាសនាផ្ទាល់ក៏ឈរប្រឆាំង—ក្នុងស្ថានភាពដូចនេះ ព្រះអង្គយល់ថាគួរចាប់យកមាគ៌ាណាដែលមានប្រយោជន៍បំផុតសម្រាប់ខ្លួន?»
