इमे सद्धर्ममाहात्म्ययशोवीर्यनिवर्तिन: । नाहन्ति व्यसन भोक्तुं नन्वेषां क्रियतां दया

Transliteration

Vaiśaṃpāyana uvāca: ime saddharma-māhātmya-yaśo-vīrya-nivartinaḥ | nārhanti vyasanaṃ bhoktuṃ, nanv eṣāṃ kriyatāṃ dayā ||

Translation

វៃសម្បាយនៈបាននិយាយថា៖ «កូនៗទាំងនេះរបស់ខ្ញុំ ជាអ្នកដើរតាមផ្លូវធម៌ដ៏ប្រសើរ ដោយបានណែនាំដោយមហិមារបស់សទ្ធម្ម និងដោយគុណធម៌ កេរ្តិ៍ឈ្មោះ និងវីរភាពរបស់បុរសមហាត្មា។ ពួកគេមិនសមនឹងទទួលទុក្ខវេទនានោះទេ។ ដូច្នេះ សូមព្រះអង្គដ៏គួរគោរព មេត្តាករុណាចំពោះពួកគេ»។
