अध्याय ६४ — सभामध्ये क्रोध-निवारणम्

Restraint of wrath in the royal assembly

अबालत्वं मन्यसे राजपुत्र बालो5हमित्येव सुमन्दबुद्धे । यः सौहदे पुरुषं स्थापयित्वा पश्चादेनं दूषयते स बाल:

abālatvaṃ manyase rājaputra bālo ’ham ity eva sumandabuddhe | yaḥ sauhade puruṣaṃ sthāpayitvā paścād enaṃ dūṣayate sa bālaḥ ||

វិទុរៈបានបន្ទោសព្រះរាជកុមារ៖ «ឱ ព្រះរាជបុត្រ ទុរយោធនៈ អ្នកមានបញ្ញាខ្សោយណាស់។ អ្នកគិតថាខ្លួនមិនក្មេងទេ ហើយគិតថា ‘ខ្ញុំឆ្លាត វិទុរៈគ្រាន់តែក្មេងល្ងង់’។ តែអ្នកល្ងង់ពិត គឺអ្នកដែលដាក់មនុស្សម្នាក់ឲ្យនៅតំណែងមិត្តជិតស្និទ្ធសិន ហើយបន្ទាប់មកវិលមកចោទប្រកាន់ និងបង្ខូចកេរ្តិ៍ឈ្មោះគាត់»។
