पार्थहेतो: पराक्रान्तो भीष्मस्यायो धन प्रति । राजन! भीष्मजीके साथ युद्ध करनेमें अर्जुनकी सहायताके लिये पराक्रम करनेवाले सुभद्राकुमार अभिमन्युने राजकुमार बृहद्वलके साथ युद्ध किया
sañjaya uvāca | pārtha-hetoḥ parākrānto bhīṣmasya āyodhanaṃ prati | rājan, bhīṣmajīke sātha yuddha karane meṃ arjunakī sahāyatā ke liye parākrama karanevāle subhadrā-kumāra abhimanyune rāja-kumāra bṛhadvalake sātha yuddha kiyā |
សញ្ជ័យបាននិយាយថា៖ ព្រះរាជា! អភិមន្យូ កូនប្រុសដ៏ក្លាហានរបស់សុភទ្រា បានរុញចូលទៅមុខ ដើម្បីអាជុន ទៅកាន់មុខសមរភូមិរបស់ភីស្មៈ។ ដើម្បីជួយអាជុនក្នុងការប្រយុទ្ធនឹងភីស្មៈ គាត់បានចូលប្រយុទ្ធជាមួយព្រះរាជកុមារ ប្រឹហទ្វលៈ។ ព្រឹត្តិការណ៍នេះបង្ហាញពីកាតព្វកិច្ចស្មោះត្រង់ចំពោះបុព្វហេតុ និងសាច់ញាតិ ទោះនៅក្រោមទម្ងន់សីលធម៌នៃសង្គ្រាមក៏ដោយ។
