Yuga-Lakṣaṇa and Varṣa-Pramāṇa Inquiry (युगलक्षण–वर्षप्रमाण–प्रश्न)
श्यामो यस्मात् प्रवृत्तो वै तत् ते वक्ष्यामि भारत । आस्तेऊत्र भगवान् कृष्णस्तत्कान्त्या श्यामतां गत:
śyāmo yasmāt pravṛtto vai tat te vakṣyāmi bhārata | āste 'tra bhagavān kṛṣṇas tat-kāntyā śyāmatāṁ gataḥ ||
សញ្ជ័យបាននិយាយថា៖ «ឱ ភារតៈ ខ្ញុំនឹងប្រាប់ព្រះองค์ថា ហេតុអ្វីបានជាទីនោះក្លាយជាពណ៌ស្យាមៈ ហើយហេតុអ្វីវាបញ្ជូនពណ៌នោះទៅអ្នកដទៃ។ នៅទីនោះ ព្រះអម្ចាស់ ក្រឹષ્ણ ព្រះមានព្រះភាគ ស្ថិតនៅ; ដោយរស្មីនៃព្រះកាយព្រះองค์ ទីនោះបានទទួលពណ៌ងងឹតនោះ (ហើយដោយស្និទ្ធស្នាល ក៏ត្រូវបាននិយាយថា វាប៉ះពាល់ដល់អ្នកដែលរស់នៅជិតផងដែរ)»។
