Yuga-Lakṣaṇa and Varṣa-Pramāṇa Inquiry (युगलक्षण–वर्षप्रमाण–प्रश्न)
संजय उवाच सर्वेष्वेव महाराज द्वीपेषु कुरुनन्दन | गौर: कृष्णश्न वर्णो द्वौ तयोर्वर्णान्तरं नृप
sañjaya uvāca sarveṣv eva mahārāja dvīpeṣu kurunandana | gauraḥ kṛṣṇaś ca varṇo dvau tayoḥ varṇāntaraṃ nṛpa ||
សញ្ជ័យបាននិយាយថា៖ «ព្រះមហាក្សត្រដ៏អធិការ ជាកិត្តិយសនៃកូរុ! នៅទូទាំងទ្វីបទាំងអស់ គេឃើញមានពណ៌ស និងពណ៌ងងឹត ហើយក៏មានស្រមោលពណ៌កណ្ដាលរវាងទាំងពីរផងដែរ។ ដូច្នេះ ភាពខុសគ្នានៃរូបរាងគឺជារឿងធម្មតានៅលើលោក»។
