धृतराष्ट्र रवाच सुमहान् संशयो मेउद्य प्रोक्तोडयं संजय त्वया । प्रजा: कथं सूतपुत्र सम्प्राप्ता: श्यामतामिह
dhṛtarāṣṭra uvāca—sumahān saṁśayo me ’dya prokto ’yaṁ sañjaya tvayā | prajāḥ kathaṁ sūtaputra samprāptāḥ śyāmatām iha ||
ធೃತរाष्ट्रបានមានព្រះបន្ទូលថា៖ «សញ្ជ័យ កូនសូតៈ! ថ្ងៃនេះ អ្នកបាននិយាយអំពីសេចក្តីសង្ស័យដ៏ធំមួយដល់ខ្ញុំ។ តើដោយគ្រាន់តែរស់នៅទីនោះ ប្រាជាជននៅទីនេះបានទទួលភាពងងឹត (ស្យាមៈ) ដូចម្តេច?»
