अश्वमेधीयस्य हयस्य दक्षिणापश्चिमगमनम् — The Sacrificial Horse’s Southern and Western Circuit
मैवं भू: शाम्यतां वैरं मा ते भूद् बुद्धिरीदृशी । गच्छेथथास्त्वं परां चैत्रीमश्वमेधे नूपस्य न:
vaiśampāyana uvāca |
maivaṁ bhūḥ śāmyatāṁ vairaṁ mā te bhūd buddhir īdṛśī |
gacchethathās tvaṁ parāṁ caitrīm aśvamedhe nūpasya naḥ ||
«កុំធ្វើដូច្នេះឡើយ។ សូមឲ្យសត្រូវភាពរវាងយើងស្ងប់ស្ងាត់ទៅ; កុំឲ្យចិត្តគំនិតបែបនេះកើតឡើងក្នុងអ្នកម្ដងទៀត—កុំគិតចង់លើកសង្គ្រាមប្រឆាំងនឹងយើងទៀតឡើយ។ នៅថ្ងៃពេញចន្ទខែចៃត្រ ខាងមុខនេះ ព្រះបាទ យុធិស្ឋិរ នឹងប្រព្រឹត្តពិធីអស្វមេធ; អ្នកត្រូវមកចូលរួមជាខានមិនបាន»។
