अश्वमेधीयस्य हयस्य दक्षिणापश्चिमगमनम् — The Sacrificial Horse’s Southern and Western Circuit
पार्थोउब्रवीज्न मे वध्या राजानो राजशासनात् | अलं युद्धेन ते वीर न ते5स्त्वद्य पराजय:
vaiśampāyana uvāca | pārtho 'bravīn me vadhyā rājāno rājaśāsanāt | alaṃ yuddhena te vīra na te 'stv adya parājayaḥ |
វៃសម្បាយនៈបាននិយាយ៖ ប៉ាថ៌ (អរជុន) បាននិយាយថា៖ «ស្តេចទាំងនេះ ខ្ញុំមិនត្រូវសម្លាប់ទេ ព្រោះនេះជាព្រះបញ្ជារបស់ព្រះមហាក្សត្រ។ គ្រប់គ្រាន់ហើយនៃការប្រយុទ្ធ ឱ វីរបុរស; សូមដកខ្លួនចេញពីសមរភូមិ ដើម្បីកុំឲ្យអ្នកទទួលបរាជ័យនៅថ្ងៃនេះ»។
