Chatra–Upānah Dāna: Origin Narrative
Jamadagni–Reṇukā–Sūrya Saṃvāda
नाभाग उवाच अनृतं भाषतु सदा सद्भिश्वैव विरुध्यतु । शुल्केन तु ददत्कन्यां यस्ते हरति पुष्करम्
Nābhāga uvāca: anṛtaṁ bhāṣatu sadā sadbhiś caiva virudhyatu | śulkena tu dadat kanyāṁ yas te harati puṣkaram ||
នាភាគា បាននិយាយថា៖ «សូមឲ្យអ្នកណាដែលលួចយកផ្កាឈូករបស់អ្នក ត្រូវបានបណ្តាសាឲ្យនិយាយពាក្យមិនពិតជានិច្ច ឲ្យប្រឆាំងនឹងអ្នកមានធម៌ជានិច្ច ហើយឲ្យទទួលបាបនៃការផ្តល់កូនស្រីដោយយកថ្លៃ ដូចជាលក់នាង»។
