Puṣkara-Śapatha Itihāsa (Agastya–Indra Dispute at the Tīrthas) | पुष्कर-शपथ-आख्यानम्
जगदग्निरुवाच नैतस्थेह यथास्माकं भक्तमिन्धनमेव च । संचिन्त्यं वार्षिक चित्ते तेन पीवाउछुना सह
Jamadagnir uvāca: na etat iha yathā asmākam bhaktam indhanam eva ca | sañcintyam vārṣikam citte tena pīvā ucchunā saha ||
ជមដគ្និ បាននិយាយថា៖ «មិនដូចយើងទេ—ដែលត្រូវគិតគូរនៅក្នុងចិត្តពេញមួយឆ្នាំ ដោយការគណនាដ៏កង្វល់អំពីអាហារ ហើយសូម្បីតែឈើសម្រាប់ភ្លើង។ ព្រោះក្នុងចិត្តគាត់មិនមានកង្វល់យូរឆ្នាំបែបនោះទេ គាត់បានក្លាយជាមនុស្សសម្បូរខ្លួន ជាមួយឆ្កែ»។
