Śrāddha-Kalpa: Pitṛ-Pūjā and Tithi-Phala (श्राद्धकल्पः पितृपूजा च तिथिफलम्)
उत्पपात तदा वह्नौ ववृधे चादूभुतोपमम् । तेजस्तेजसि संयुक्तमात्मयोनित्वमागतम्
utpapāta tadā vahnau vavṛdhe cādūbhutopamam | tejas tejasi saṃyuktam ātmayonitvam āgatam ||
ភីṣ្មៈបាននិយាយថា៖ «បន្ទាប់មក ពន្លឺនោះបានផ្ទុះឡើងក្នុងអគ្គិ ហើយរីកធំឡើងដល់កម្រិតអស្ចារ្យ មិនអាចប្រៀបបាន។ ពន្លឺនោះបានរួមជាមួយពន្លឺរបស់ភ្លើង ហើយក្លាយជាសភាព “កើតដោយខ្លួនឯង” បង្ហាញខ្លួនជាបុរសស្វ័យភូ—ការលេចចេញដ៏គួរឱ្យស្ញប់ស្ញែងពីក្នុងអណ្តាតភ្លើងបូជា។»
