Gavāṃ Māhātmya — Go-dāna, Yajña-ādhāra, and Goloka
Brahmā–Indra–Surabhi Itihāsa
समानवत्सां धूम्रां तु थेनुं दत््वा पयस्विनीम् । सुव्रतां वस्त्रसंवीतां याम्यलोके महीयते
samānavatsāṃ dhūmrāṃ tu dhenuṃ dattvā payasvinīm | suvratāṃ vastrasaṃvītāṃ yāmyaloke mahīyate ||
វសិષ્ઠៈបានមានពាក្យថា៖ បុរសណាដែលបរិច្ចាគគោពណ៌ប្រផេះដូចផ្សែង ដែលមានទឹកដោះច្រើន ដោយមានកូនគោពណ៌ដូចគ្នាជាមួយ ហើយគ្របដោយក្រណាត់យ៉ាងសមរម្យ គោនោះមានសីលធម៌ល្អ នោះបុរសនោះនឹងត្រូវបានគោរពកិត្តិយសនៅក្នុងលោករបស់យម (Yama-loka)។
