गोप्रदानगुणाः तथा कपिलागोविधानम्
Merits of Cow-Gift and the Origin-Account of Kapilā Cows
तावत् प्रदानात् स गवां फलमाप्रोति शाश्वतम् । शतक्रतो! जो एक समय भोजन करके दूसरे समयके बचाये हुए भोजनसे गाय खरीदकर उसका दान करता है
tāvat pradānāt sa gavāṁ phalam āpnoti śāśvatam | śatakrato!
ភីષ្មបានមានព្រះបន្ទូលថា៖ ឱ សតក្រតុ (ឥន្ទ្រ) អ្នកណាដែលបរិច្ចាគគោ នឹងទទួលបានផលដ៏អស់កល្បជានិច្ច។ សូម្បីតែអ្នកដែលបរិភោគម្តង ហើយយកអាហារដែលសន្សំពីម្តងបន្ទាប់ទៅទិញគោ រួចបរិច្ចាគវា ក៏ទទួលបានបុណ្យផលមិនរលាយ ស្មើនឹងការទានគោចំនួនប៉ុន្មានដែលស្មើនឹងចំនួនរោមលើរាងកាយគោនោះ។
