Adhyāya 57: Tapas–Dāna Phala
On the Fruits of Austerity and Giving
विस्मयं परम॑ प्राप्तस्तद् दृष्टया महदद्भुतम् । ततः प्रोवाच कुशिको भार्या हर्षसमन्वित:
vismayaṁ paramaṁ prāptas tad dṛṣṭvā mahad adbhutam | tataḥ provāca kuśiko bhāryāṁ harṣa-samanvitaḥ ||
ភីෂ្មៈបានមានព្រះបន្ទូលថា៖ «ព្រះរាជា គុសិក បានឃើញអព្ភូតហេតុដ៏អស្ចារ្យនោះ ហើយពោរពេញដោយការភ្ញាក់ផ្អើលខ្ពស់បំផុត។ បន្ទាប់មក ដោយចិត្តរីករាយ ព្រះរាជាបានមានព្រះបន្ទូលទៅកាន់ព្រះមហេសី—ដោយរងឥទ្ធិពលពីអ្វីដែលទើបបានឃើញ»។
