एको विड्वर्ण एवाथ तथात्रैवोपलक्षित: । षडपध्वंसजास्ते हि तथैवासपदान् शृणु
eko viḍvarṇa evātha tathātraivopalakṣitaḥ | ṣaḍapadhvaṃsajāste hi tathaivāsapadān śṛṇu ||
ភីṣ្មៈបានមានព្រះវាចា៖ «នៅទីនេះផងដែរ មានវណ្ណៈលាយមួយ ត្រូវបានបញ្ជាក់ឲ្យឃើញច្បាស់។ ពិតប្រាកដណាស់ នេះហើយជាកូនចៅ ‘អបធ្វំសជ’ ទាំងប្រាំមួយ (កើតពីការរួមពូជលាយតាមលំដាប់ដែលទទួលស្គាល់) ដែលបានរៀបរាប់ក្នុងប្រការនេះ។ ឥឡូវ ចូរស្តាប់ខ្ញុំ ពណ៌នាអំពី ‘អបសទ’—អ្នកដែលកើតពីការរួមពូជលាយតាមលំដាប់បញ្ច្រាស»។
