न चैतेभ्य: प्रदातव्या न वोढव्या तथाविधा । न होव भार्या क्रेतव्या न विक्रय्या कथंचन
na caitebhyaḥ pradātavyā na voḍhavyā tathāvidhā | naiva bhāryā kretavyā na vikrayyā kathaṃcana ||
ភីṣ្មៈបានមានព្រះបន្ទូលថា៖ «មិនគួរប្រគល់កូនស្រីឲ្យបុរសប្រភេទនោះឡើយ ហើយក៏មិនគួររៀបការជាមួយក្មេងស្រីដែលកំពុងត្រូវបាន ‘លក់’ ដូច្នោះដែរ; ព្រោះភរិយាមិនមែនជាវត្ថុសម្រាប់ទិញ ឬលក់ ដោយវិធីណាមួយឡើយ»។
