Indra–Mataṅga Saṃvāda: On the rarity and responsibilities of Brāhmaṇya (इन्द्र-मतङ्ग संवादः)
तपसा वा सुमहता कर्मणा वा श्रुतेन वा । ब्राह्म॒ण्यमथ चेदिच्छेत् तन्मे ब्रूहि पितामह
Yudhiṣṭhira uvāca:
Tapasā vā sumahatā karmaṇā vā śrutena vā |
Brāhmaṇyam atha ced icchet tan me brūhi pitāmaha ||
យុធិષ્ઠិរ បានមានព្រះបន្ទូលថា៖ «ឱ ព្រះបិតាមហា! ប្រសិនបើនរណាម្នាក់ប្រាថ្នាចង់ឈានដល់ព្រាហ្មណ៍ភាពពិតប្រាកដ សូមប្រាប់ខ្ញុំថា តើវាត្រូវទទួលបានដោយអ្វី—ដោយតបស្យាដ៏ធំធេង ដោយកិច្ចការល្អឧត្តម ឬដោយការសិក្សា និងស្វាធ្យាយវេដៈ?»
