मातङ्ग–शक्रसंवादः
Mataṅga–Śakra Dialogue on Tapas, Status, and Moral Qualities
शिलवृत्तिस्तु यत् कृत्यं प्रातस्तत् कृतवान् शुचि: । कृतकृत्यमुपातिष्ठत् सिद्ध तमतिथिं तदा
Bhīṣma uvāca: śīlavṛttis tu yat kṛtyaṃ prātas tat kṛtavān śuciḥ | kṛtakṛtyam upātiṣṭhat siddham atithiṃ tadā ||
ភីෂ្មៈបានមានព្រះវាចា៖ ពេលព្រឹករះឡើង គ្រួសារបុរសអ្នកមានវិន័យក្នុងការប្រព្រឹត្តិ បានសម្អាតខ្លួនឲ្យបរិសុទ្ធ ហើយបំពេញកិច្ចព្រឹកដែលត្រូវធ្វើ។ ពេលបញ្ចប់វត្តប្រចាំថ្ងៃរួច គាត់ក៏ឈរត្រៀមបម្រើភ្ញៀវសិទ្ធៈដ៏សម្រេច—ដែលនៅចន្លោះពេលនោះផងដែរ បានបញ្ចប់ពិធីព្រឹកចាំបាច់របស់ខ្លួន ដូចជា ងូតទឹក និងបូជាទេវតា។
