Tīrtha-vaṃśa Upadeśa: Instruction on the Fruits of Sacred Waters
चारित्रनिरता राजन् ये कृशा: कृशवृत्तय: । अर्थिनश्लोपगच्छन्ति तेषु दत्त महाफलम्
cāritraniratā rājan ye kṛśāḥ kṛśavṛttayaḥ | arthinaś copagacchanti teṣu dattaṃ mahāphalam, rājan ||
ភីष្ម បានមានព្រះបន្ទូលថា៖ «ឱ ព្រះរាជា! អ្នកដែលប្រកាន់ខ្ជាប់សីលធម៌ មានជីវភាពរលាយបាត់ ហើយដោយខ្វះអាហារបានស្គមស្គាំងខ្លាំង—បើពួកគេមកជាយាចកសុំជំនួយ នោះទានដែលប្រគេនដល់ពួកគេ នាំឲ្យបានផលបុណ្យដ៏ធំ»។
