अहिंसयित्वा ब्रह्महत्याविधानम् / Brahmahatyā incurred without physical violence
मार्कण्डेय उवाच अश्वमेधसहस्रं च सत्यं च तुलया धृतम् । नाभिजानामि यद्यस्य सत्यस्यार्धमवाप्तरुयात्
Mārkaṇḍeya uvāca— aśvamedha-sahasraṃ ca satyaṃ ca tulayā dhṛtam | nābhijānāmi yad yasya satyasyārdham avāptum arhati ||
មារកណ្ឌេយៈ បានមានព្រះវាចា៖ «បើដាក់ពិធីអស្វមេធៈមួយពាន់លើចានតុល្យមួយ ហើយដាក់ “សច្ចៈ” លើចានមួយទៀត ទោះតុល្យវាស់ក៏ដោយ ខ្ញុំមិនអាចនិយាយបានថា ពិធីទាំងនោះនឹងសមស្របស្មើបានសូម្បីតែពាក់កណ្តាលនៃសច្ចៈឡើយ។ ដូច្នេះហើយ តម្លៃនៃការពិតស្មោះគឺមិនអាចវាស់បាន»។
