मुच्यते सर्वपापेभ्य: कीर्तयन् वै शुचि: सदा । नानधो न बधिर: काले कुरुते स्वस्तिमान् सदा
mucyate sarvapāpebhyaḥ kīrtayan vai śuciḥ sadā | nāndho na badhiraḥ kāle kurute svastimān sadā ||
ភីष្ម បានមានព្រះបន្ទូលថា៖ «អ្នកណាដែលសូត្រនិងប្រកាសពូជពង្សទេវតា និងឥសីជានិច្ច នឹងរួចផុតពីបាបទាំងអស់ ហើយនៅសុទ្ធសាធជានិច្ច។ តាមកាលកំណត់ គាត់មិនក្លាយជាខ្វាក់ ឬថ្លង់ទេ; ផ្ទុយទៅវិញ គាត់ជានិច្ចទទួលបានសេចក្តីក្សេមក្សាន្ត»។
