व्यजयच्छत्रुसंघांश्व देवानां स्वेन तेजसा । अत्रिणा दह्ामानांस्तान् दृष्टवा देवा महासुरान्
vyajayac chatrusaṅghāṁś ca devānāṁ svena tejasā | atriṇā dahyamānāṁs tān dṛṣṭvā devā mahāsurān |
ភីṣ្មៈបានមានព្រះវាចា៖ «ដោយពន្លឺវិញ្ញាណរបស់ខ្លួនឯង គាត់បានឈ្នះលើកងសត្រូវជាច្រើនរបស់ព្រះទេវតាទាំងឡាយ។ ពេលឃើញអសុរាធំៗទាំងនោះត្រូវបានដុតឆេះដោយអานุភាពអត្រី ព្រះទេវតាដែលបានសុវត្ថិភាពក្រោមការការពាររបស់អត្រី ក៏បង្ហាញវីរភាពរបស់ខ្លួន ហើយសម្លាប់ដៃត្យទាំងនោះ។ ដូច្នេះ អត្រីបានធ្វើឲ្យព្រះអាទិត្យភ្លឺរលោង ធ្វើឲ្យព្រះទេវតារួចផុតពីគ្រោះថ្នាក់ និងនាំអសុរាទៅកាន់វិនាស»។
