ऋषिर्मेधातिथे: पुत्र: कण्वो बर्हिषदस्तथा । ब्रह्मतेजोमया: सर्वे कीर्तिता लोकभावना:
ṛṣir medhātitheḥ putraḥ kaṇvo barhiṣadas tathā | brahma-tejomayāḥ sarve kīrtitā loka-bhāvanāḥ ||
ភីෂ្មៈបានមានព្រះវាចា៖ «ក៏មាន កណ្វ ឥសី បុត្ររបស់ មេធាតិថិ និង វर्ठិសទ ផងដែរ។ ឥសីទាំងអស់នេះ ត្រូវបានលើកតម្កើងថា ពោរពេញដោយតេជៈព្រះព្រហ្ម ជាអ្នកគាំទ្រលោក និងជាអ្នកប្រទានគុណដល់ការបង្កើត។»
