Adhyāya 152 — Bhīṣma’s Authorization for Yudhiṣṭhira’s Return to the Capital (नगरप्रवेशानुज्ञा)
एष देव मया प्रोक्तः स्त्रीधर्मो वचनात् तव । या त्वेवंभाविनी नारी सा पतिव्रतभागिनी
eṣa deva mayā proktaḥ strīdharmaḥ vacanāt tava | yā tv evaṃbhāvinī nārī sā pativratabhāginī ||
មហេស្វរៈមានព្រះបន្ទូលថា៖ «ឱ ព្រះអម្ចាស់! តាមព្រះបញ្ជារបស់ព្រះអង្គ ខ្ញុំបានពោលបង្ហាញធម៌របស់ស្ត្រីនេះ។ ស្ត្រីណាដែលរៀបចំជីវិតរបស់នាងតាមរបៀបដូចបានពណ៌នា នាងនោះជាអ្នកមានសិទ្ធិចែករំលែកផលនៃ “បតិវ្រតា” —ការស្មោះត្រង់ដ៏មាំមួនចំពោះស្វាមី ដូចជាព្រះវ្រតដ៏បរិសុទ្ធ»។
