Śiva-nāmānukīrtana-prastāvaḥ
Prologue to the praise of Śiva and the Upamanyu testimony
विना भर्त्रां च रुद्रेण भविष्यति न संशय: । वंशे तवैव नाम्ना तु ख्यातिं यास्यति चेप्सिताम्
vinā bhartrāṁ ca rudreṇa bhaviṣyati na saṁśayaḥ | vaṁśe tavaiva nāmnā tu khyātiṁ yāsyati cepsitām ||
វាសុទេវបានមានព្រះបន្ទូលថា៖ «ដោយគ្មានប្តី—ហើយដោយអំណាចរបស់ រុទ្រ (Rudra)—វានឹងកើតមានឡើងជាក់ជាមិនខាន។ ក្នុងវង្សរបស់អ្នក កូននោះនឹងទទួលបានកិត្តិយសដូចដែលអ្នកប្រាថ្នា ហើយកិត្តិយសនោះនឹងភ្ជាប់ជាមួយឈ្មោះរបស់អ្នកផ្ទាល់»។
