Śiva-nāmānukīrtana-prastāvaḥ
Prologue to the praise of Śiva and the Upamanyu testimony
धवककुभकदम्बनारिकेलै: कुरबककेतकजम्बुपाटलाभि: । वटवरुणकवत्सना भबिल्वै: सरलकपित्थप्रियालसालतालै:
dhavakkubhakadambanārikelaiḥ kurabakaketakajambupāṭalābhiḥ | vaṭavaruṇakavatsanā bhabilvaiḥ saralakapitthapriyālasālatālaiḥ ||
វាសុទេវបានមានព្រះបន្ទូលថា៖ អាស្រមនោះត្រូវបានតុបតែងដោយដើមឈើព្រៃជាច្រើនប្រភេទ ដែលផ្ដល់ទាំងផ្កា និងផ្លែ—ធវ, កកុភ, កដំប, ដូង, កុរបក, កេតក, ជាំបូ, បាតល, ដើមបាញាន់, វរុណក, វត្សនាភ, បិល្វ, សរាល, កបិត្ថ, ព្រីយាល, សាល និង តាល។ ទីនោះពេញទៅដោយផ្កា ព្រៃព្រឹក្សតូចៗ និងវល្លិឡើង ហើយព្រៃចេកជាច្រើនកន្លែងបានបន្ថែមសោភ័ណភាពឲ្យកាន់តែរុងរឿង។
