Sāma (Sāntva) and Dāna: The Brāhmaṇa’s Conciliatory Release from a Rākṣasa
ब्राह्मणश्रैन्न विन्देत श्रुतवृत्तोपसंहित: । प्रतिग्रहीता दानस्य मोघं स्थात् धनिनां धनम्
brāhmaṇaḥ śraiḥ na vindeta śrutavṛttopasaṃhitaḥ | pratigrahītā dānasya moghaṃ syāt dhanināṃ dhanam ||
មៃត្រេយៈបាននិយាយថា៖ ប្រសិនបើព្រាហ្មណ៍ម្នាក់ ដែលពេញលេញដោយវិជ្ជា និងសីលធម៌ ហើយជាអ្នកមានសិទ្ធិទទួលទានជាអធិបតី មិនបានទទួលការឧបត្ថម្ភទេ នោះទ្រព្យសម្បត្តិរបស់អ្នកមាននឹងក្លាយជាឥតប្រយោជន៍ ព្រោះទានរបស់ពួកគេមិនបានទៅដល់ភាជនៈសមគួរ និងគោលបំណងត្រឹមត្រូវ។
