Bhaṅgāśvanopākhyāna — On comparative affection in strī–puruṣa union (भङ्गाश्वनोपाख्यानम्)
स्त्रीभूतस्य हि ये जाता: स्नेहस्तेभ्योडथधिक: कथम् | कारण श्रोतुमिच्छामि तन्मे वक्तुमिहाहसि
strībhūtasya hi ye jātāḥ snehast ebhyo ’tha adhikaḥ katham | kāraṇaṁ śrotum icchāmi tan me vaktum ihārhasi ||
ភីष្មបានមានព្រះបន្ទូលថា៖ «ហេតុអ្វីបានជាសេចក្តីស្រឡាញ់របស់អ្នកកាន់តែខ្លាំងចំពោះអ្នកដែលកើតមកនៅពេលអ្នកបានក្លាយជាស្ត្រី? ខ្ញុំប្រាថ្នាចង់ស្តាប់មូលហេតុ។ អ្នកគួរប្រាប់ខ្ញុំនៅទីនេះ»។
