उपवासफलात्मकविधिः — Upavāsa as Yajña-Equivalent Merit

वीणानां वल्लकीनां च वेणूनां च विशाम्पते । सुघोषैर्मधुरै: शब्द: सुप्त: स प्रतिबोध्यते
vīṇānāṁ vallakīnām ca veṇūnāṁ ca viśāmpate | sughoṣair madhuraiḥ śabdaḥ suptaḥ sa pratibodhyate prajānātha ||
អង្គិរាស បានមានព្រះវាចា៖ «ឱ ព្រះអម្ចាស់នៃប្រជាជន ឱ អធិរាជនៃមនុស្ស! ដោយសំឡេងស្រទន់ផ្អែម និងសូររណ្តំដ៏រីករាយ នៃវីណា (vīṇā), វល្លកី (vallakī) និងខ្លុយ/វេណុ (veṇu) នោះ បុគ្គលដែលដេកលក់ ត្រូវបានដាស់ឡើងយ៉ាងទន់ភ្លន់។»
