Adhyaya 89: शौचाचारलक्षणम् — सदाचार, भैक्ष्यचर्या, प्रायश्चित्त, द्रव्यशुद्धि, आशौच-निर्णय

अत ऊर्ध्वं गृहस्थेषु शीलीनेषु चरेद्द्विजाः श्रद्दधानेषु दान्तेषु श्रोत्रियेषु महात्मसु
Transliteration
ata ūrdhvaṃ gṛhastheṣu śīlīneṣu careddvijāḥ śraddadhāneṣu dānteṣu śrotriyeṣu mahātmasu
Translation
ចាប់ពីនេះទៅ ព្រះទ្វិជៈគួរដើរទៅកាន់គ្រួសារក្នុងសង្គមដែលមានសីលធម៌ល្អ—មានសទ្ធា មានការគ្រប់គ្រងខ្លួន ជាស្រោត្រីយៈចេះវេដៈ និងមានចិត្តធំ—ដើម្បីស្វែងរកការរួមសង្គម និងការគាំទ្រ ក្នុងវង់វង្សដ៏គួរគោរព ដែលជួយដល់ធម៌ និងភក្តិចំពោះបតិ ព្រះសិវៈ។
