अन्तकाले तु सम्प्राप्रे प्राणे ऽपानमुपस्थिते तमसा संवृते ज्ञाने संवृतेषु च मर्मसु

តែពេលវេលាចុងក្រោយមកដល់—ពេលអបាន (apāna) ខិតជិត និងរួមជាមួយប្រាណ (prāṇa)—ពេលចំណេះដឹងត្រូវគ្របដោយភាពងងឹត ហើយចំណុចជីវិត (មರ್ಮ) ក៏ត្រូវបិទស្ទះផងដែរ។
