Chapter 229 — शकुनानि (Śakuna: Omens)

चण्डालश्वपचाद्यानि नरा बन्धनपालकाः गर्भिणी स्त्री च विधवाः पिण्यकादीनि वै मृतं

caṇḍālaśvapacādyāni narā bandhanapālakāḥ garbhiṇī strī ca vidhavāḥ piṇyakādīni vai mṛtaṃ

ចណ្ឌាលា និងអ្នកចម្អិនឆ្កែ (ស្វបច) ជាដើម; បុរសដែលធ្វើការជាអ្នកយាមគុក ឬអ្នកថែអ្នកជាប់ឃុំ; ស្ត្រីមានផ្ទៃពោះ និងស្ត្រីមេម៉ាយ; និងកាកសំណល់ដូចជាកាកប្រេង (oil-cake) ជាដើម—ទាំងនេះត្រូវចាត់ទុកថា «ស្លាប់/មិនបរិសុទ្ធ» គឺបង្កមលពិធី។
