इत्य् आग्नेये महापुराणे राजधर्मो नाम द्वाविंशत्यधिकद्विशततमो ऽध्यायः अथ त्रयोविंशत्यधिकद्विशततमो ऽध्यायः राजधर्माः पुष्कर उवाच वक्ष्ये ऽन्तःपुरचिन्तां च धर्माद्याः पुरुषार्थकाः अन्योन्यरक्षया तेषां सेवा कार्या स्त्रिया नृपैः

ដូច្នេះ ក្នុង អគ្និមហាបុរាណ បញ្ចប់ជំពូកទី២២២ មានចំណងជើង «រាជធម៌ (កាតព្វកិច្ចរបស់ព្រះមហាក្សត្រ)»។ ឥឡូវចាប់ផ្តើមជំពូកទី២២៣ ស្តីពី «រាជធម៌ទាំងឡាយ»។ ពុស្សករ បានមានពាក្យថា៖ «ខ្ញុំនឹងពន្យល់អំពីការគ្រប់គ្រងអន្តះបុរ (វាំងក្នុង/គ្រួសាររាជវង្ស) ផងដែរ។ ដើម្បីរក្សា ធម៌ និងគោលបំណងជីវិតផ្សេងៗ តាមការការពារគ្នាទៅវិញទៅមក ព្រះមហាក្សត្រគួរឲ្យមានការថែទាំ និងបម្រើស្ត្រីក្នុងវាំងឲ្យសមគួរ»។
