FAQs

It provides the chapter transition and opens a Tantric-style invocation (namaskāra) to Trailokya-mohinī Lakṣmī/Śrī as the giver of all siddhis, indicating a pūjā-vidhi section focused on mantra-based worship for accomplishment and prosperity.

It exemplifies how the Agni Purana catalogues practical ritual technologies—mantras, deity-forms, and worship sequences—alongside many other disciplines, functioning as a compendium of applied religious procedures (pūjā-vidhi) within a broader multi-topic Purāṇic encyclopedia.

By saluting Śrī as sarva-siddhidā (bestower of all accomplishments), the text frames the practice as a merit-bearing devotion intended to remove obstacles, attract auspiciousness, and support both worldly prosperity and spiritually oriented attainments (siddhis).
