भद्रं भद्रमिति ब्रूयान्नानिष्टं कीर्तयेत् क्वचित् पालाशमासनं वर्ज्यं देवादिच्छायया व्रजेत्

គួរនិយាយតែពាក្យមង្គល ដោយនិយាយថា «ភទ្រំ ភទ្រំ» (សូមឲ្យមានមង្គល) ហើយកុំរំលឹកអំពីអមង្គលនៅពេលណាមួយ។ គួរជៀសវាងអាសនៈធ្វើពីឈើប៉ាឡាស (palāśa) ហើយមិនគួរឆ្លងកាត់ស្រមោលរបស់ទេវតា និងអ្វីសក្ការៈដូច្នោះទេ។
