शुक्लपक्षे फाल्गुनस्य तथारभ्य विचक्षणः । रौद्रं व्रतं चतुर्दश्यां कृष्णपक्षे विशेषतः । माघमासादथारभ्य पूर्णं संवत्सरं नृप ॥ ६५.९ ॥
śuklapakṣe phālgunasya tathārabhya vicakṣaṇaḥ | raudraṃ vrataṃ caturdaśyāṃ kṛṣṇapakṣe viśeṣataḥ | māghamāsād athārabhya pūrṇaṃ saṃvatsaraṃ nṛpa || 65.9 ||
識ある王よ、パールグナ月（Phālguna）の白分より始めて、ラウドラの誓戒（Raudra-vrata）を修すべし。とりわけ黒分の第十四日（チャトゥルダシー）に重きを置く。マーガ月（Māgha）より起こし、一年を満たして成就せよ。
