Marital Fidelity and Ethical Devotion

वर्त्तमानापि विप्रेन्द्र प्रत्याख्यातापि वा सदा ॥ न दैवतं सम्प्रयाति पत्युर्न्यं कदाचन ॥

varttamānāpi viprendra pratyākhyātāpi vā sadā || na daivataṃ samprayāti patyuranyaṃ kadācana ||

婆羅門の中の最勝者よ、たとえ別れて住もうとも、また常に退けられようとも、彼女は決して、いかなる時も、夫以外の「神格」に帰依しない。
