तां प्रियां प्रीतहृदयां श्रावयंस्तस्य भाषितम् ॥ राज्ञस्तु वचनं श्रुत्वा देवी वचनमब्रवीत् ॥
tāṁ priyāṁ prītahṛdayāṁ śrāvayaṁs tasya bhāṣitam || rājñas tu vacanaṁ śrutvā devī vacanam abravīt
その愛しき婦人—慈愛に満ちた心をもつ者—に彼の言葉を聞かせ、さらに王の言葉を聞き終えると、王妃(devī)は返答して語った。
