दीपे प्रज्वालिते तत्र हस्तशौचं तु कारयेत् ॥ ततः प्रक्षाल्य हस्तौ तु पुनरेवमुपागतः ॥

dīpe prajvālite tatra hastaśaucaṃ tu kārayet || tataḥ prakṣālya hastau tu punar evam upāgataḥ ||

そこで灯明が点ぜられたなら、手の浄めを行うべきである。次いで両手を洗い、再び同様の作法で近づき、儀礼を続ける。
