IAST Transliteration
oṃ tisraḥ purās tripathā viśvacarṣaṇā atrākathā akṣarāḥ sanniviṣṭāḥ | adhiṣṭhāyainā ajarā purāṇī mahattarā mahimā devatānām ||1||
Translation
オーム。三つの城塞（プラー）があり、道は三重で、あらゆる民を支える。ここに、言葉を超えた不滅のものが据え置かれている。これらを統べるのは、老いなき古の力であり、それこそが神々のいよいよ大いなる栄光である。
Academic Translation
Om. Three are the citadels (purās), threefold are the paths, sustaining all peoples; here, the unutterable imperishables are set in place. Presiding over these, the ageless, ancient (power) is the greater glory of the deities.
