atra snānena dānena yathā śaktyā jiteṃdriyaḥ | homena vidhipuktena naraḥ svargamavāpnuyāt
ここにおいて、力に応じて沐浴し施しをなし、諸根を制し、規定にかなうホーマ(火供)を修すれば、人は天界に至る。
Brahmā (deduced: Vaiṣṇavakhaṇḍa discourse style)
Tirtha: Sarayū–Ghargharā Saṅgama
Type: sangam
Listener: null
Scene: A disciplined pilgrim completes a sequence: bath at confluence, offers dāna to a brāhmaṇa, sits with controlled posture, and performs a small homa with ladle and fire altar on the bank.
When pilgrimage is joined with self-control, charity, and properly performed ritual, it yields strong spiritual fruit culminating in svarga.
The ‘here’ refers to the Saṅgama tīrtha in Ayodhyā, especially the Sarayū–Ghargharā confluence context.
Snāna, dāna according to means, and vidhi-enjoined homa, undertaken with sense-restraint (jitendriya).
