फणसाहस्रमणिभिर्दग्धाः शेषस्य सुव्रत । तस्मादेतन्महातीर्थं सरयूतीरगं शुभम् । ख्यातं सहस्रधारेति भविष्यति न संशयः

Transliteration

phaṇasāhasramaṇibhirdagdhāḥ śeṣasya suvrata | tasmādetanmahātīrthaṃ sarayūtīragaṃ śubham | khyātaṃ sahasradhāreti bhaviṣyati na saṃśayaḥ

Translation

おお善き誓戒を保つ者よ、ここにおいてシェーシャの千の蛇冠の宝珠は灼かれた。ゆえにサラユー河畔にあるこの吉祥なる大ティールタは、疑いなく「サハスラダーラー」—千の流れ—として名高くなるであろう。
