स तु मूढमतिर्मेने अहं विष्णुरिति प्रिये । चिह्नानि धारयामास चक्रादीनि वरानने
sa tu mūḍhamatirmene ahaṃ viṣṇuriti priye | cihnāni dhārayāmāsa cakrādīni varānane
しかし彼は愚かな心に迷い、「我こそヴィシュヌである」と思い込んだ、愛しき者よ。さらに、美しき顔の君よ、彼は円盤（チャクラ）などの聖なる徽章を身に帯び始めた。
