चंद्र उवाच । यदि प्रसन्नो देवेश वरार्हो यदि वाऽप्यहम् । सोमनाथेति तं नाम भूयाद्ब्रह्मावधि प्रभो
caṃdra uvāca | yadi prasanno deveśa varārho yadi vā'pyaham | somanātheti taṃ nāma bhūyādbrahmāvadhi prabho
チャンドラは言った。「神々の主よ――もし御身が満悦され、また我も恩寵に値するならば――主よ、その御名を『ソムナータ（Somnātha）』とし、梵天の寿命の極みに至るまで存続せしめ給え。」
