viśāle tu kṛte devyā locane viṣṇudarśanāt | viśālākṣī tato jātā tatrasthā daityanāśinī

Translation

ヴィシュヌを拝して女神が眼を大きく開かれたとき、彼女は「ヴィシャーラークシー」と称されるようになった。そこに住し、ダイティヤを滅する者となった。
