そこで作法どおりに沐浴し、聖仙シャーンディリヤを正しく礼拝する者があれば――リシ・パンチャミーの日、夫に貞節なる妻(パティヴラター)が規定の儀礼を行い、触れては清めることを幾度も重ねることで、月経に伴う不浄の恐れから必ず解放される。
