तेनान्नेन तदा ता वै वर्त्तयन्ते सदा प्रजाः । ऋषिभिः श्रूयते चापि पुनर्दुग्धा वसुन्धरा
tenānnena tadā tā vai varttayante sadā prajāḥ | ṛṣibhiḥ śrūyate cāpi punardugdhā vasundharā
その食によって、当時の生きとし生けるものは—そして後の世に至るまで—常に養われた。またリシたちより聞くところによれば、さまざまな類の衆生の利益のために、大地は幾度も「乳しぼり」されたという。
